7 puppies ! One Day Old

Boys: Royal, Green, Red, Orange

Girls: Purple, Sky, Yellow

Things happened quicker than we expected and Coffee free whelped all 7 in 2.5 hours!  

Birth Weights are 6.7 - 10.1 oz.

Now it is time for all of us to rest.

Five Weeks

The puppies have now become little dogs!  They are very good about using their litter box and enjoy their three meals a day.  Momma still checks in on them.  Here are some more photos.

They also got to experience being outside for the very first time!

Please excuse the lack of the web cam at the end of the week.  We had a tragedy with one of our adult dogs, and it was just one less thing I had to do to get through.  I hope you all understand.

Four Weeks

The pups are growing like weeds and are now little dogs.  They use their litter box pretty reliably to potty, keeping their papers 80% clean!  They are enjoying their meals of Eukanuba Weaning Formula, Eukanuba Large Breed Puppy Food (soaked until soft) with a splash of The Honest Kitchen Keen.  They also enjoy playing with their toys.  I say they are pretty happy puppies!

Three Week Update

The pups have now officially moved into the living room to be in the midst of all the goings on.  They also have the Puppy Sounds CD playing for them a few times a day to get them used to all different sounds and noises.  The TV is left on for them as well.

The Moon litter has arrived!

Born in the wee morning hours of the "super" moon, Coffee is the proud momma of 6 boys and 2 girls!  She did have 9, but we lost the smallest girl this afternoon.  The eight seems to be doing well. 

Coffee's First Show

On the move.

 Coffee, aka Beitshemesh Cafe Au Lait, Luther's granddaughter, went to her first show on Saturday.  She was a happy, silly, goofy puppy.... 

 

but she can move!

And the judge awarded her Best of Winners for her first point!
