New Photos

Luther & Lacey's son, Chief, going WD/BOW at his first show, just one week past his 6 month birthday. Officially known as Visions Mischief Maker at Shady Ridge, he is owned/handled/co-bred by Pat Sawtelle.

Star, Visions Dreams Come True, winning her first major. Yes this was back from November, but I was just given the photo. Yes, she is stark naked in this photo. No, the handler did not get a photo of her 2nd major won at Philadelphia.

Sabrina and Luther just taken with my cell phone this afternoon, looking very content on our bed. Luther and his littermates turned 5 on Saturday. I could not find it in me to celebrate his birthday as it is still very bittersweet for me, even though 5 years have past. I may just have to have a combo birthday party in April for both him and Sabrina.

Star!

Star was joined by her new handler, Joy Quallenberg, for the first time today at Newton KC. There they were WB/BOS. I think this is the start of a great team!

A good day!

Not solid purple, but the purple & whites are very sweet when you have very nice competition and a judge who is really trying hard and making you work for your placing!

Magnet was 1st in BBE and RWD to a major. WD was a lovely red male from the open class, Suncliffe Nonquitt At Dirigo. We did get nice compliments from the judge, and I agree with her, that Magnet needs a bit of maturity.

Star was 2nd in BBE/RWB to a major. WB/BOW was a lovely Fudge x Wynona daughter, Puddleduck Solas Smoke & Mirrors. The judge had a very hard time deciding between the two.

It was a good day even though we did not get top honors. Reserve to lovely dogs does make it a good day.

A sighting! And Star's first point!

There was a Chloe sighting in the next town. They are papering that area now with flyers, and they plan to take Tristan for walks in the woods there. I am praying that they find her quickly. Tristan moved right in, slept in bed with one of the daughters and has managed to get everyone he meets to rub his belly.

Star won her first point today by going WB/BOW/BOS! It was great to get the coveted purple ribbon!
