Busy, busy, busy!

Hello blog world. I am still here. Just oh so busy. Working on the Handbook which is very time consuming, in between the snow storms and power outages. We bought a new generator which has been very helpful. And I am happy to report that I saved both my bettas. You should see the matching tanks (my fish live in 2 gallon tanks, not tiny bowls) on the coffee table, in front of the fire place, with books between them so as not to upset the occupants with unwelcomed neighbors.

Back to the grindstone...

You know you are doing something right when...

...the obedience instructor at the major pet chain store you socialize your dogs at 1-2x a week wants your business card for the office so they can send people who want a "corgi" in your direction. Gosh this made my day!

Six words

Patricia McConnell recently lost one of her dogs, Lassie, and wrote an interesting blog post about author Earnest Hemingway challenging his friends to write a story in 6 words. She then challenged her readers to write a 6 word story about their dog.

Another STAR

Magnet is OVC Certified for Normal Hips. Certificate No 0041903. He is not in the database yet but my vet gave me the faxed results. ** Happy Dance ** I will be submitting them to OFA so they will be in the most widely searched database.


I also spent the morning doing much needed updates to my website. The performance stars page, Olivia & Honor-Bug's pages are also now up to date. As well as adding Magnet's health clearances, of course!
