Luther Cookies

We have our annual Craig Family Reunion this Sunday and every family brings a dish to share with the crowd. This year my sister Donna, from the Goldman side, was wonderful enough to help me bake! To showcase our small family segment of Craigs, we made Luther Cookies!

We made lots so we can freeze half to bring to James' Retirement Party.

Do Maui or Sterling (or even Huckles) count as Luther cookies?

ROFL... I guess they do!

Very cute. Where did you get the Cardi cookie cutter?

I have that same cookie cutter(I found it on EBay). I have tried to use it but I never seem to get my dough rolled thin enough. The cookies always cook up into unrecognizable blobs! Yours look great! Nice job!

I picked up the cookie cutter here: http://www.gourmetpettreats.net/cookie.htm

Taryn, the trick to having the cookies keep their shape is the refrigerate the cut cookies on the sheets before baking! Otherwise they will spread out to blobs...
