Fundraising ideas?

I belong to a lovely, but small, obedience club. Basically they hold classes year round, one AKC Obedience/Rally trial a year and 1 basket raffle at the dinners held twice a year. I left the annual meeting tonight (with 3 plaques ), knowing that they could use extra funds.

I am in need of easy fundraisers that will not upset people who are set in their ways with how thing should/should not be done within the club.

My favorite idea is to do rally & obedience run throughs.

Any other thoughts of easy fundraisers?

Please excuse the silliness.......but after a rain, you could wait a day and then collect all the dried up worms on the road that are covered with sand and sell them as gourmet dog treats. My corgis just love them. They drove me nuts today because they had to stop a million times to eat these gourmet treats. (Sorry, I couldn't resist.)

How about creating "lost dog packages" at a match or trial. You'll need a digital camera and a printer. Make up a flyer form template, add the photo, owner's contact name and phone number. Leave a space at the bottom for the last place the dog was seen. Print it on white paper and slide it into a plastic sheet protector. You could probably charge $10 each. What d'ya think?

I really like the run-through idea. What about bumper stickers or t-shirts that could be sold at trials? Would any nearby clubs let you have vendor space for free for club fundraising? Or you could sell online?

Anything on CafePress is absolutely free money. You don't have any shipping, returns, nothing. just someone's time to set it up, and put images on items. Voila, anything you make is what I consider FREE money!

Agility run throughs usually make a bunch o money.

Run throughs with a bake sale... Not only do you get the run through money but those people will buy goodies too. Especially if you do dog treats...

What is it with worms? Mine LOVE to roll in dead earthworms...

My club makes between $100 - $300 on obedience matches which we hold about once a month. Our Agility matches bring in about $1,000 but require much more manpower.
