It was so pretty looking back, as if there were thousands of crystals decorating the landscape. Amazing how such beauty was so destructive.
We had a crazy ice storm my freshman year of college. It was SO beautiful, and yes, so damaging! They closed our school for the first time in forever, because it was so cold and slick. Many people broke wrists just walking to class and slipping on the sidewalks.
